“China Harayeko Manche” is an autobiography of a famous Nepali actor Hari Bansha Acharya where he portrays his love, work, friendships and many adversities he faced in his life.

It is not an autobiography but rather his transformation from a high school dropout to one of the most renowned and respected personalities of Nepal.

I have read quite a few autobiographies but this one made me travel back in his time revealing what it takes to be a great person, not just successful. There were many ups and downs in his life. For instance, he gushed out his difficulties in coping with his wife Meera’s death, like the sleepless nights and mentioned there wouldn’t be a day without some teardrops.

My father once told me, those who sing, those who write and those who compose are the ones who have endured and revived from unpleasant circumstances in their life.

Lyrics, poems, and books are emotions.

I shed some tears, smiled and overall enjoyed the ups and downs of Hari Bansha that made me realize what matters most in life - love, friends and family.

Give it a try and thank me later.
